Funding Framework

SMEs can receive funding for R&D development and experimentation, including software development:

• In Germany: Up to 60% of costs; grants of up to 336,000€ per SME and up to 3,000,000€ per project

• In Czechia: Up to 80% of costs; grants ranging from 120,000€ to 2,000,000€ per project/SME (if the SME is the sole applicant)

Research organizations can receive funding only if collaborating with SMEs:

• Up to 100 % of costs in Germany

• Up to 85 % of costs in Czechia

Funding is provided through the ZIM – Kooperationsprojekte program (Germany) and the Aplikace – International Collaboration program (Czechia).
